Like its fellow luxury brands before, namely Fendi and Chanel, Prada has gone clear for Spring 2010 with their Plex + Spazzolato and Mistolino bags which are made of, dare we say it, very ordinary looking vinyl and plastic.
To be fair to Prada, it appears that they have gone to great lengths to elevate these doctor’s shaped bags with lots of semi-precious stones and plastic crystals, perhaps to add some sparkle to this regular household material. Also we must admit that these bags leave us wanting more, and the price seems a bit too hefty for their make. We also predict it will be plenty of cheaper alternatives out there.
