China "Urban Forest" to Tower

The architects are pressing ahead with an extraordinary high-rise building in Chongqing, China

The structure will comprise 70 distinct, unique floors that try and blend nature with urbanity. Essentially, it’s a metropolis mountain.

Each floor will be based on a curved, abstract shape built around a cylindrical core running right through the building. Each level is also rimmed with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies, which should give the impression that the floors are floating on top of one another.
